Greetings, fellow humans (and/or others), and welcome to the Grand Opening Extravaganza of \_jimmy b's metal blog_/!! The ribbon-cutting ceremony will commence shortly, just as soon as Eddie shows up - late as usual. So, in the meantime, this blog will be a semi-regular (with a view to becoming regular) musing on the weird and wonderful wide world of metal, from the wholly unique and revelatory perspective of this awesome dude in Perth, Western Australia (Australia's music hub for those not in the know *subtle wink*). I will be covering the local scene like some kind of uncomfortable blanket, and peering over at the eastern states scene for any interesting tidbits like some kind of small parasitic insect (inside said blanket). I will also be offering my esteemed opinions on the classics of metal, always a controversial topic, but one ripe for discussion nonetheless, and any major metal news from around the world will probably end up here as well. Ah, finally, look what dragged the cat in -
